People who must reveal every meal — from the basic basil to the robust cotes du Rhone — are SOOO tedious.
Oh well. I just finished brunch after checking out Canton’s Farmer’s Market this morning. There were only a few people at Jones Park, but Canton Main Street’s Dana Smith said traffic comes and goes. Worked for us. My husband and I scored Swiss chard, kohlrabi, French radishes, leaf lettuce, cabbage and kale for around $10, while virtuously passing up some tempting cinnamon rolls.
Using Prairie Farms butter and an egg from Hanna City’s Greengold Acres, I cooked up a vegetable saute. Outstanding, cheap, local and highly-recommended.
